Tawa - Deck, Pergola and Retaining Wall

This house in Tawa had a very tired deck and outdoor area, and no access at the side of the house.

After demolishing the deck and existing retaining walls, we completely rebuilt the deck with a pergola and concrete blockwork retaining wall.

We also built a new wooden retaining wall and steps at the side of the house.

The new deck creates a fantastic BBQ and social outdoor area.

House - Wadestown, Wellington

Previously this well established home was not drive on. A new drive and retaining walls were created with new double garaging excavated underneath the existing home (the house frontage was propped to allow this work to be done). The build included two new bedrooms above the garage, a new entrance way and stairs, new bathroom and the installation of a goods lift.
All alterations and additions were built to complement the period features of this prestigious Wellington home.

Island Bay home

This addition involved the construction of a second storey self contained 1 bedroomed flat - with access through the new garage to the existing home. The works also include a downstairs bedroom and storage area for the main house. New fencing was constructed, sympathetic to the period of the house.

Commercial Building remodel

This commercial building was very tired when we got to it: lack of insulation made it very noisy when it rained, very cold during the winter, and unshaded windows made it too hot in summer!

The extensive alterations included completely re-cladding the exterior walls with ply and Linea weatherboards, fitting new aluminum windows and a installing a new Colorsteel roof.

The roof profile was altered to include new eaves. A new entrance way was created at the ground level for a tenant of the building.

The building's tenants are very happy with the improved windows, roof and insulation.

House alteration - Titahi Bay

Titahi Bay - Extensive Alterations

Alterations to this existing house included demolishing the existing lounge and kitchen and rebuilding these from scratch. We also created a BBQ area and deck.

As this side of the house is very exposed to the beach, we installed sliding storm screens for shelter.

We were lucky enough to work with award-winning architectural plans on this job. The construction was all in Eucalyptus saligna timber, and matches the modern style of the existing house.

Architect's House - Kelburn, Wellington

An arcitect owns this very old Kelburn villa.

We demolished 90% of the existing structure and rebuilt it with a second story. All our changes were done to match the existing Colonial style.

Tawa - Complete Deck replacement

The first picture shows the original deck, which was 300 mm out of level!

We replaced the deck and railings completely, the homeowner was very happy.

Whitby - Decks and Garage Alteration

This job involved removing an old carport and replacing it with a brand new deck and steps.

The existing garage was completely rebuilt to make it wider and much more accessible.

We also built a second deck at the back of the house.

The owner was very happy with the outcome of this job.

This front of this sleepout needed repiling urgently due to gradual water damage.

After repiling the front of the sleepout, we installed drainage to prevent the same problem from reoccurring in the future.
